Our origin story

How the studio started

Kyra Torres opened Ink House Tattoo Studio after seven years tattooing, including an Ink Master Season 17 appearance. The standard she set is the same one every artist now works to.

From Surrey to Langley

Ink House started in Surrey. Built a 4.9-star reputation over a few years, then moved to a larger space on Fraser Highway in 2026 with room for the full roster.

Inside the space

Open floor plan, no closed doors. Calming music, Netflix on the back wall, no ego in the room. Comfort isn't a side benefit. It's the design.

The roster is the brand

Nine artists, each chosen by Kyra after a long look at their portfolio and a longer conversation about how they work. The standard is everyone's job, not one person's.

The space

The studio is open plan. No private booths, no closed doors. Artists work in the same room, which means clients see the whole team while they're being tattooed and hear conversations they wouldn't normally hear in a flash shop. Calming music, Netflix on the back wall, no ego in the room. Comfort built into how the studio runs, not bolted on at the end.

Every artist at Ink House was chosen by Kyra after she competed on Ink Master. The standard is not one person's talent. It is the bar for the whole room.

The vibe is the differentiator
