Last updated May 21, 2026. This policy describes how Ink House Tattoo Studio collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
The studio
Ink House Tattoo Inc., operating as Ink House Tattoo Studio, is located at 100-20061 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC. We comply with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you book a consultation or appointment, we collect your name, email address, and phone number, along with tattoo details (style, size, placement, reference photos, budget range), appointment dates and history, government-issued photo ID at the consultation for age verification, health disclosures relevant to the procedure captured on the in-studio waiver, and payment information processed by Square (we do not store card details). When you visit our website, we collect cookies and analytics data including pages viewed, time on site, and referring source, plus anonymized usage patterns through Google Analytics 4.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule, confirm, and update appointments, communicate about your booking, design, and aftercare, verify age and identity at the consultation, process payments and deposits, follow up after your appointment with care instructions or a review request, improve the studio experience and our website, and comply with legal obligations including business records and tax requirements.
Third-party tools
We use these services to run the studio, each with its own privacy practices: Tally for intake form submissions, Square Appointments for booking and contact records, Square for payment processing at the studio, Framer for website hosting, Google Analytics 4 for anonymized website analytics, Gmail (hosted by Google) for email communication, and Instagram and Meta when you DM us through Instagram.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies for analytics and to support core site functionality. You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Opting out of Google Analytics is available via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How we store and protect your information
Your information is stored on the platforms listed above, each of which uses encryption and access controls. The waiver and ID copies collected at the studio are held by the studio and accessed only by Kyra and authorized staff.
Data retention
We keep client records, including appointment history and waivers, for seven years to meet business and tax record requirements. Marketing data, such as analytics, is retained for the default term set by each platform. You can request earlier deletion at any time by calling (778) 554-9191, subject to legal retention requirements.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above in order to operate the studio, and with authorities when legally required (for example, a court order).
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent for non-essential uses, and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. Children
We do not tattoo anyone under 18 and do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
